Why Courtside
Impacting fans, not game outcomes.
Performance & Uniformity Rating is MFMA’s system-level standard: it measures not just how a floor performs, but how consistently it performs across its entire surface.
Gen4 was installed into a complete hardwood court system and tested under PUR at panel centers and along panel edges — the transition points where a rigid insert would introduce deflection discontinuity.
It met the standard on all five criteria, at every measurement point. Floor warranties remain intact, and refinishing cycles are unaffected.
Criterion | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Vertical Deflection | How far the floor gives under load |
| Surface Friction | Grip window for cutting and pivoting |
| Shock Absorption | Impact energy returned to the athlete |
| Basketball Rebound | Ball response vs. a concrete baseline |
| Area of Deflection | How deflection spreads across the surface |
